Be the difference for the little one you love.

As a trusted healthcare provider, families and future moms-to-be look for our guidance and education on issues that affect the health and well-being of their infant. We are committed to helping our patients prepare for the birth and care of their little one (or ones)! Our goal is to make you feel safe, taken care of, and provide you with the additional support you will need after your bundle of joy arrives.

Every parent should know how and when to perform CPR. When administered correctly, CPR can save a child’s life by restoring blood flow to the heart, brain, and other organs and restoring breathing until advanced life support can be given by healthcare providers.

The importance of infant CPR: Why learn?

When expecting a child, there are many things we do to prepare for his/her arrival – eating healthy, staying on track with prenatal checkups, getting the nursery ready, etc. However, as future parents one important thing that should be considered and added to the list is registering for a CPR class. In the event of cardiac arrest, survival depends on immediately receiving CPR from someone nearby. Parents and caregivers are among the most important people to be trained in infant/child CPR and choking relief.

According to the American Heart Association, more than 7,000 children suffer and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest annually. The National Center of Injury Prevention and Control states that unintentional choking and suffocation are a leading course of all injury deaths for infants under the age of one.
