Richard JenetAfter earning his medical degree in 1984 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. Jenet completed one year of general surgery training at New York University Medical Center and a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the George Washington University School of Medicine. During his residency, he was appointed Administrative Chief Resident.

Dr. Jenet is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the Gynecologic Laser Society. He is the current Chair of OB/GYN at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center and was Chairman of Potomac Hospital’s OB/GYN department for 16 years. He is da Vinci Robotic trained, and he trains other surgeons as a proctor for Intuitive Surgical, Inc. His personal interests include fishing and boating, and he enjoys watching his children play ice hockey and sing.
