Clinical Expertise: Obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, preventative medicine, and fitness

LatashaSteelDr. Steele, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (Indiana), earned her M.D. at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City (2009). In 2013, she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. She also has specialized training in da Vinci Robotic procedures that provide less-invasive alternatives for several gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomy, myomectomy (fibroid removal), oophorectomy (ovary removal), and salpingectomy (fallopian tube removal).

As a former collegiate track runner, Dr. Steele has a special interest in helping her patients with fitness related issues, in addition to her compassionate approach to providing obstetric, surgical, and preventative care. In her spare time, Dr. Steele enjoys travel, reading, and watching college football.
