Jocelyn Ajala, MD

Jocelyn Ajala, MDDr. Ajala received her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1998 and graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2003.  As a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship Program from the US Navy during medical school, Dr. Ajala completed her residency training at the National Naval Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Hospital. Upon completing her training, Dr. Ajala served as an attending physician at Beaufort Naval Hospital for 4 years.

Dr. Ajala has been in private practice in Northern Virginia since 2012. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Ajala enjoys caring for women as they progress through the various stages of womanhood. Her passion is preventive women’s health and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Her approach to medicine is to treat the entire patient with individualized care and compassion.

Dr. Ajala is a native Washingtonian.  Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling and playing tennis.
